Tests and documents
Record lab and field tests for your athletes and store their reports.
Wearables can’t measure everything. The Tests & Documents tab on each athlete’s page keeps blood tests, VO2max and lactate tests, body composition scans and race results in one place. These results feed the Performance and Recovery benchmarks.
Record a test
Section titled “Record a test”- Open the athlete and select the Tests & Documents tab.
- Choose Record a test.
- Pick the test type. The form changes to show the fields for that test.
- Enter the results and choose a unit for each.
- Add the lab’s reference range if you have one.
- Add the conditions, such as the lab, time, protocol, whether they fasted and how long since a hard session.
- Drag in the report if you have one.
- Save.
You’ll also find Record a test on the Performance tab wherever a lab value is missing. Reports are stored encrypted.
Read the results
Section titled “Read the results”Each test card shows who recorded it and how the values compare with the lab’s own range:
- In lab range, Above lab range or Below lab range say how a value compares with the range on the report.
- Below the sports target appears separately when the value is fine medically but short of what an athlete would aim for.
See if a change is real
Section titled “See if a change is real”Choose Compare with previous test on a test card. Everstride tells you if the difference is likely real or within noise, based on the typical error of that test.
Plan your next tests
Section titled “Plan your next tests”The Coverage view in Compare shows who is overdue or has never done each test.
Who can see a test
Section titled “Who can see a test”- Tests you record stay visible to you, even if the athlete later turns off sharing for that category.
- Tests the athlete added follow the athlete’s sharing choices.
Results in the blood and body composition group are treated as sensitive health data. See Hide health data.
