Read the team dashboard

A tour of the team dashboard and how to use it each day.

The team dashboard is your home page. It answers one question: who needs me today, and why?

The team dashboard showing team averages, quick view cards, an attention card, a team summary and the athlete roster

  1. Read Today’s focus. This is the most severe flagged athlete, with what changed and a suggested next step.
  2. Scan Attention. See everyone else who is outside your rules.
  3. Open an athlete. Check their page before you reach out.
  4. Check the roster. It sorts the people who need attention to the top.

The strip along the top shows the team’s average recovery, sleep score, HRV, resting heart rate and VO₂ max, plus how many athletes are flagged. Under each number, every athlete is a small tick and the dark bar marks the team average.

Select any (i) beside a label to see what the metric means. Definitions are also in Metrics explained.

A pinned card for the athlete who most needs a look, shown when someone is flagged. It says what changed, gives context such as how their training compares to usual, and offers one suggestion.

Four cards you choose, each naming the athlete at the top or bottom of the team for one metric, such as lowest recovery or heaviest 7-day load. Select Edit to swap them. You can use custom metrics here too.

Quick view leaves out athletes whose latest data is more than 3 days old, unless nobody has recent data.

Athletes outside your attention rules, most severe first. See Attention and flags for how this works and how to change it.

Short lines about the team, such as who is freshest and who has the most load. These lines are generated by fixed rules from your data, so they’re always traceable to the numbers.

Every athlete with their latest numbers. By default, flagged athletes come first, then athletes with stale devices, then lowest recovery.

  • Search by name or team.
  • Flagged shows only flagged athletes.
  • Columns lets you choose what’s shown. Your choices are remembered.
  • Select a heading to sort by that column.
  • Tick up to 12 athletes, then choose Compare to see them side by side.
You see What it means
Not shared The athlete has chosen not to share this. It isn’t missing data.
Reconnect WHOOP (or another service) The athlete’s connection has expired. Only they can fix it, in their app.
3d ago The latest data is from 3 days ago, so treat it with care.
stale in Form There’s a gap in syncing, so the form value is held back.
– There’s no value yet.

The dashboard works on a phone. The roster turns into one card per athlete, and the menu sits behind the button at the top right.
